Leahy Kneebone Cup – August 13

The Leahy and Kneebone families, want to promote the common sense message and the importance of taking responsibility on the road.

Taking care on our roads is a responsibility that we all bear. We share the roads, we must share the responsibility.

Steph left her home in Murray Bridge to visit a friend, but crashed her car at Mypolonga and passed away. Her father John, and uncle Terry, established the Steph Leahy Cup, an event that aims to remind and educate young members of their communities about the importance of road safety.

Terry, President of Tailem Bend Football Club, talks about how the death of his niece Stephy changed the attitudes to road safety of the football club and the wider community, and the initatives that were set up to help educate young members about the importance of road safety.
